HARVEST HOPE 35TH ANNIVERSARY GALA will be 6 p.m. March 11 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St. Event will feature Blues Traveler and a presentation of a humanitarian award by Gov. Nikki Haley. Tickets are $150 at bid.co/events/harvesthope. Proceeds will benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank.

PAALS UN-GALA will be 7 p.m. Saturday at the S.C. State Museum, 301 Gervais St. Event will feature food, beverages and entertainment but with a more relaxed and casual atmosphere than a gala. TASTE OF THE TOWN AND BENEFIT AUCTION will be 11-3 p.m. Saturday at Westwood High School, 180 Turkey Farm Road, Blythewood. The event presented by Redhawks Football Booster Club will include food, inflatables, a live auction and music. Blood drives will take place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 3200 Trenholm Road; 10 a.m-3 p.m. Sunday, Pisgah Lutheran Church, 1350 Pisgah Church Road, Lexington; 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington; and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday at Irmo High School, 6671 St. Andrews Road.
