Meth cookers found in Elgin home Saturday morning
A methamphetamine lab was discovered early Saturday morning in Elgin by Richland County deputies.
Kenneth Linville Jr., 37, and Courtney Thompson, 32, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Around 4:30 a.m., deputies attempted to serve a warrant at 106 Pine Knoll Court where they found two suspects inside cooking meth, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
The house was evacuated, and the Columbia Fire Department responded.
The investigation is ongoing.
