S.C. DOT officials announce Longwood Road closure until early April

South Carolina Department of Transportation officials announced that a portion of Longwood Road will be closed beginning Thursday and will remained closed until early April.

Officials said bridge repairs will begin on Longwood Road between Bluff Road to the dead end. The roadway will be closed to traffic until April 8, officials estimate.

No detour will be put in place because there are no residential or commercial properties on the affected section of Longwood Road, officials said.
