UPDATE: Two found dead in Lexington residence identified

Lexington County coroner Margaret Fisher identified the two people found dead in a Lexington residence Sunday night as Lillie Mae Thompson, 70, of West Columbia and Leonard Eugene Williams, 80, of Lexington.

The cause of death is still under investigation by the coroner’s office.

After responding to a welfare check, deputies discovered the two bodies in the residence at 301 Double Eagle Circle near White Knoll High School, said Lexington Public Information Officer Capt. Adam Myrick.

While an investigation into the deaths continues, currently there is no search for suspects, Myrick said.
