Fort Jackson conducting controlled burn this morning

COLUMBIA, SC Fort Jackson Forestry branch announced it will conduct a prescribed burn this morning near Dixie and Wildcat roads. The area undergoing the controlled burn are on the post’s interior.

Fort Jackson will burn 198 acres starting at about 10:30 a.m.
