Man dies after shooting at Columbia apartment complex

Police are investigating a fatal shooting late Friday at an apartment complex in north Columbia.

Darrel Goodwin, 29, was the victim of a drive-by shooting in the 900 block of Marlboro Street, Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said.

Goodwin was standing outside Hammond Village Apartments when struck by shots fired from two vehicles passing, police said. He died Saturday from one wound, Watts said.
