Boil water advisory for Columbia apartment complex repealed

City officials repealed a boil water advisory for Allen Benedict Court Apartments this afternoon.

City of Columbia Water Works reported water customers at the apartment complex, 1810 Allen Benedict Court, no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking after issuing the advisory yesterday, according to a news release from the city.

The release stated samples indicated water is safe for consumption following an intense flush of the distribution system.
