Nonprofits working on flood recovery get another $420,000 in grants
Nonprofits working on flood recovery in South Carolina will receive $420,000 in the third round of grants from the One SC Flood Relief Fund.
To date, the fund has awarded $1.68 million to nonprofits working in South Carolina. The 10 nonprofits who received grants this round were:
▪ All Hands Volunteers: Mold remediation in Georgetown
▪ Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Charleston: Mold remediation in Florence, Williamsburg and Georgetown
▪ Mennonite Disaster Service: General rebuild support and materials in Andrews, Sumter and Clarendon
▪ S.C. Conference of the United Methodist Church: General rebuild and repair in Georgetown, Williamsburg, Florence and Sumter counties
▪ S.C. Baptist Convention: General rebuild and repair in Georgetown, Johnsonville, Hemingway, Williamsburg and Florence
▪ Habitat for Humanity: General rebuild and repair in Georgetown
▪ Ridgeville Community Resource Center: General rebuild and repair in Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Orangeburg and Colleton counties
▪ Black River United Way: General rebuild and repair in Georgetown and Williamsburg
▪ Palmetto Project: House in a Box Clarendon County and Richland County
▪ National Council of the United States, Society of St. Vincent de Paul: House in a Box
