Discount tickets offered for water slide in Columbia

Last-minute 25 percent discounts in admission tickets are available for the outdoor water slide near Finlay Park in downtown Columbia Saturday.

The deal for the 1,000-foot ride on Gadsden Street adjoining the park was announced by city officials Friday.

Go online to SlidetheCity.com and use the promotional code ‘slidecolumbia’ to receive the discount. Various ticket packages are available.

The slide starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m.
