Lexington County coroner identifies man killed in motorcycle accident

The man who died after an accident on his motorcycle last week was identified by the the Lexington County Coroner.

Jesse Cravets, 35, was killed on June 22 in an accident involving his motorcycle and a vehicle on the 2200 block of Augusta Road in West Columbia, said Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

Cravets, of Monetta, was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the accident, with blunt force injury the cause of death according to an autopsy, Fisher said.

The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol.
