Columbia man succumbs to injuries from traffic accident

A 56-year-old Columbia man injured in a traffic accident on July 7 died Friday, Richland County coroner Gary Watts said.

Robert Spigner of Woodlawn Avenue died from pneumonia and sepsis due to complications from the blunt force injuries suffered in the crash, Watts said.

The highway patrol continued to investigate the accident at Old Hopkins Roads and Montgomery Lane in Hopkins, SC.
