Culture is on display as part of ‘RACE: Are We So Different?’
Hawaiian dancers, Irish step dancers, Hindu dancers and West African drummers were on display Saturday at the South Carolina State Museum.
The performers were participating in the Multicultural Day and Community Health Fair, held in conjunction with the museum’s new exhibit, “RACE: Are We So Different?”
Other performers included Gullah storyteller Aunt Pearlie Sue, Palmetto Pipes and Drums, models displaying Mexican fashion designs from the Miss Columbia Latina project and Lisa Bachan, “the Swedish Lady.”
