Edgewood neighbors invited to talk about new library branch

Richland Library staff will talk with the public on Thursday about plans for its new location in the Edgewood neighborhood.

There will be an open discussion about the future of the facility, library officials said. Key library staffers will be available to answer questions.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the Cecil Tillis Center, located at 2111 Simpkins Lane in Columbia.

The library operates 11 facilities throughout Richland County.
