Richland deputies investigate late-night armed robbery

Richland County deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a store on Blythewood Road on Sunday night.

The incident happened just before 10 p.m. at the IGA store, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson said. A man walked into the store with a gun and demanded money.

There were no injuries reported, Wilson said. Deputies are urging anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
