Gaston man arrested on child sex exploitation charges

A Gaston man has been arrested and charged with one count of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the S.C. Attorney General’s office.

Wise Elliot Pillow Jr., 59, was arrested by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, Attorney General Alan Wilson said in a news release.

Investigators said Pillow, a registered sex offender, solicited nude photographs from a minor.

Pillow was arrested on Sept. 20, 2016. The felony offense is punishable by up to 20 years imprisonment.

The case will be prosecuted by the attorney general's office.
