Deputies search for armed robber who they say tied employee up
Richland County deputies are searching for a man who they say robbed a business on St. Andrews Road at gunpoint and bound an employee.
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. on Oct. 7, officials said. A man walked into Advance America, presented a handgun, and demanded money.
He then tied the victim, stole cash from the business and fled, according to the sheriff’s department. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated by EMS.
The incident was captured on video surveillance. The sheriff’s department released surveillance images Thursday.
