Robbery suspect reached over counter, stole cash from Two Notch Road business

Richland County deputies are searching for a woman they believe robbed a Dollar General of cash.

The suspect walked into Dollar General, 6246 Two Notch Road, and demanded money from the register around 9 a.m. Oct. 11, according to a news release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Video surveillance from the business showed the suspect reaching over the counter and stealing cash from the register.

The suspect then ran away from the business and fled the scene in a pickup truck in the Dollar General’s parking lot, the video showed.

The suspect was described as a white female in her 40s about 5 feet tall and about 160 pounds.

She was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
