Deputies searching for suspect in St. Andrews area stabbing

Deputies are searching for a suspect wanted for a November stabbing that sent a man to the hospital.

A suspect reportedly stabbed a victim in the upper body during an altercation at Palmetto Inn, 127 Morninghill Drive, Nov. 14, according to a news release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies believe the suspect then fled the location in a green Ford Expedition, the release stated.

The victim was transported to Palmetto Health Richland hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies are investigating this case as an attempted murder.
