Naked man detained at Rosewood Publix

A man was detained by the Columbia Police Department on Monday after he was found naked in the parking lot of the Publix Super Market on Rosewood Drive.

The man was taken by EMS to an area hospital for mental evaluation, according to public information liaison Jennifer Timmons.

Timmons said the man wasn’t arrested because there wasn’t an indecent motive.
