Columbia Family Dollar robbed at gunpoint Tuesday

Columbia police released surveillance photos of the man they believe robbed a Family Dollar store on Tuesday night.

The robber “demanded money at gunpoint,” at the store located at 5304 Fairfield Road around 6:30 p.m. the police announced on their Twitter account. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
