Deputies investigating Tuesday stabbing in southeast Columbia

A person was stabbed multiple times in the upper body on Bluff Road Tuesday night, according to authorities.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. at Rick’s Bait and Tackle Party Shop on the 3000 block of Bluff Road, according to the Sheriff’s Department. The victim was found with multiple stab wounds to the upper body and was last listed in stable condition at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

There were no known suspects Tuesday evening, according to officials.
