Columbia police arrest two connected with drug activity

Columbia police officers arrested two suspects Wednesday night believed to be connected to known drug activity, according to department officials.

Jennifer Timmons said Leonard Mickens, 24, has been charged with possession of a stolen weapon and Shantavia Lewis, 21, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

The arrests were made at the Colony Forest Apartments located on the 6300 block of Bailey Street off West Beltline Boulevard, Timmons said.
