Woman arrested in Lexington Co. burglary caught on home’s surveillance video
A woman was arrested and charged in connection with a recent burglary captured on surveillance video, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s department reported Sunday that Brittany Martin was arrested. Martin is alleged to be the woman in a surveillance video from a burgled Batesburg-Leesville home that showed a man and a woman walking through the kitchen, checking the refrigerator’s contents and then non-nonchalantly out the door.
Marty Dean Shealy is alleged to be the man in the video, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

The home owner told deputies the backdoor of the Lawson Road home was kicked in and hunting gear was taken, the sheriff’s department said.
Martin and Shealy are alleged to have made a getaway in a Chevrolet truck.
