Man found with ‘multiple’ stab wounds at Garners Ferry Road complex

A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times early Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to a disturbance around 1 a.m. on the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Road, according to Sgt. Brittany Jackamonis. There, in the parking lot of the Yorktown Court apartments, they found a man with “multiple stab wounds to the upper body.”

There was no word on suspects Wednesday morning, and deputies are still trying to determine what led to the incident.
