Anonymous $20,000 reward offered in Tucker Hipps case
An anonymous $20,000 reward has been offered for information that will help investigators in the unsolved Tucker Hipps case.
The new reward is in addition to a reward of up to $2,000 that is being offered by Crimestoppers of Oconee County, according to Oconee County Sherif’s Office spokesman Jimmy Watt.
Friends of Tucker Hipps, the 19-year-old Clemson student who was found dead in Lake Hartwell, have turned to the fundraising website GoFundMe for help as well.
The money reaised from the GoFundMe page will be used in addition to the Crimestoppers reward.
The Sheriff’s Office with assistiance of the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has been investigating the case.
