Burglars accused of stealing $10,000 in tools from Richland County work site
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying three suspects wanted for burglary.
At approximately 11 p.m. on June 26, the suspects allegedly broke into two work trucks at Hills Machinery at 1014 Atlas Way, near the intersection of Atlas and Shop roads, according to public information liaison Senior Deputy III Katelyn Jasak.
The suspects are accused of stealing two Bobcat Model 250 Welders valued at approximately $10,000, said Jasak, adding the suspects allegedly caused approximately $5,000 in damages by cutting sections to the fence surrounding the business and breaking into the trucks.
The suspects’ vehicle was captured on video surveillance and is believed to be a light in color older model Cadillac Escalade.
