Lexington deputies looking for home burglary suspect

Lexington County deputies are looking for a man accused of breaking into a home on West Lake drive with a handgun and stealing money and jewelry.

The incident was reported about 9:41 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to Sheriff Lewis McCarty. The homeowner told deputies the suspect was an African American mane in his mid-20s and had a scar on the right side of his face.

The man left the home in a gray Ford Taurus sedan that was being driven by a second man, McCarty said.
