Lexington County man charged with attempted murder after stabbing incident
A Swansea man was arrested Sunday by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department after another man was stabbed.
Jacob Earl Harley, 37, was charged with attempted murder and possessing a weapon during a violent crime, according to arrest warrants. Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested Harley early Sunday morning after a man was stabbed at a Gator Road home.
The man who was stabbed is expected to recover from his injuries, according to detectives.
Harley is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center after a judge denied him bond Sunday morning.
“Based on what investigators determined at the scene, Harley drove to the victim’s house to fight him,” Lexington County Jay Koon said. “Harley pepper sprayed the man before stabbing him.”
