Three men charged with Five Points robbery earlier this month

Columbia police charged three men with the early morning robbery of two women in Five Points on August 5th.

Akeem Elijujwan Bonnette,24, and Tyshad Shamar Davis, 19, were charged with kidnapping and robbery. Willie Green, III, 23, remains at large and has an outstanding robbery warrant, police said. Bonnette and Davis were in custody Tuesday night.

The two women told authorities that the three men who robbed them were friendly as they all walked through a parking lot in Five Points around 3 a.m. The men then turned on the women and stole their cell phones, wallets and cash, police said.
