DUI check points in Five Points Saturday night
Plan on celebrating the Gamecocks’ win in Charlotte tonight in Five Points?
Just don’t get behind the wheel of a car. The Columbia Police Department will be conducting a DUI and traffic safety check point in the Five Points area Saturday night. Expect to see more patrols in the area, as well, the Columbia Police said in a news release.
All vehicles that enter a a check point will have to stop. The driver will be checked for a valid drivers license, possible impairment, seatbelt use, proper child restraints when applicable and any other violations that may be visible to the officer.
