Lexington Coroner IDs man fatally shot at home in North
The Lexington County Coroner has identified the individual shot and killed at a home on Sam Austin Road in North.
Larry Bryan Williams, 41, of North was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday morning, according to Coroner Margaret Fisher. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
The incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Department about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Major John Allard, a department spokesman, said.
The man’s death appears to be a homicide, Sheriff Lewis McCarty said. The circumstances of the fatal shooting and the motive remain under investigation. No additional information will be released at this time.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is also investigating.
