WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) – Authorities accuse a 58-year-old man of killing a Winston-Salem woman whose body was found in a trash can in 2011.

Multiple media outlets report that Cornelius Tucker is charged with murder in the death of 47-year-old Constance Edwina Hall. She was last seen by her father on Oct. 28, 2011. He reported her missing on Nov. 14, 2011. Her body was found 10 days later near Cook Elementary School, about two miles from their home.

An autopsy showed she had been stabbed in the chest. She also had a bruise on her right eye.

Tucker was being held in Forsyth County jail without bond. He is set to appear in court April 30. It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
