Suspect wanted for stealing U-haul from Bethune gas station

Bethune police are looking for a suspect in connection with a U-haul trailer that was stolen from an Exxon station.

The trailer was stolen from the Exxon station at U.S. Highway 1 and S.C. Highway 341 in Bethune between 1 and 2 a.m. last Sunday morning, according to deputies.

The suspect may have used the trailer to commit a burglary from a new home in Bethune on or around the same night, deputies said.

The suspect may have been driving a light-colored, mid-50s model, step-side pickup truck with flood lights attached to the top, according to the Bethune Police Department.
