Help locating missing Sumter 15-year-old sought

Sumter County authorities appealed to the public for help finding Kalaje Chiles, 15, who was last seen on April 5 at a home on Cannery Road in the county.

Chiles is described as a white female, standing 5-feet 2-inches tall and weighing about 112 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of this 15-year-old runaway is asked to call the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 436-2700 or Crime Stoppers at (803) 436-2718.
