Video shows suspect brazenly stealing truck in plain sight in Lexington County
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect wanted for stealing a truck.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the White Crane Company on Augusta Road, near the U.S. 1 Metro Flea Market.
Surveillance video shows a man stealing a black flatbed pickup truck from the company. It happened as dozens of cars drove by, the sheriff’s department said.
Video shows that after entering and starting the truck, the suspect uses it to batter through a gate.
The truck was later recovered in Florence, according to the sheriff’s department.
