Lexington County deputies have charged three people with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at his home near Swansea.

Christian Nicole Hammond, 20, and Rachel Lynn Little, 17, have both been charged with accessory after the fact to murder, Sheriff Lewis McCarty said. Both are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.

Deputies also arrested Ja’Quan Montrelle Mavins, 16, on Monday on a charge of accessory after the fact, McCarty said. Mavins, who has been charged as an adult, is being held at a pre-trial facility that is operated by the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.

The additional arrests were made in connection with the fatal shooting of Larry Bryan Williams, 41, McCarty said. Williams was shot and killed at his home on Sam Austin Road on April 8, 2015.

Deputies previously arrested Frderick Lavern Jones Jr., 16, who was charged an adult. Jones was charged with murder, armed robbery, possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and criminal conspiracy, McCarty said.

Alexis Maria Olds, 17, Gauge Christian Miller, 18, Gerkedric Shakur Walker, 18, and Jordan Russell Wall, 18, were also charged with murder, armed robbery, posessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and criminal conspiracy, McCarty said.

Hammond and Mavins allegedly drove Jordan Russell Wall, 18, away following the fatal shooting, according to arrest warrants.

Hammond and Mavins allegedly drove Wall to a motel near West Columbia, McCarty said. Hammond and Mavins are also accused of helping Wall hide a firearm, which was later recovered by detectives. Rachel Lynn Little is also accused of driving Jones, Miller and Walker away from Williams’ home following the fatal shooting.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation, McCarty said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
