1 killed in Midlands shooting
Authorities are seeking the public’s help to learn more about what led to an argument between two men that ended in shooting death.
David Green Bratton, 39, died on Sunday at Palmetto Health Tuomey, according to a news release by the Sumter Police Department. He was shot during an argument with an unknown man around 2 p.m., Sunday in the 1100 block of Flamingo Road.
What led to the shooting is unknown by investigators, the release stated. The incident appears to be isolated. Anyone with information is asked to call police department at 803-436-2700.
