Columbia man wanted in connection with stabbing death of Midlands home owner
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a Columbia man wanted in connection with a slaying.
Michael Jerome Allen, 21, is wanted on murder charges out of Orangeburg County, according to a news release by the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office. He is accused of breaking into a home in Orangeburg and stabbing the resident, including cutting his face. The 58-year-old homeowner, whose name was not released, was found dead in a chair by investigators.
