Columbia man arrested in Midlands stabbing
A Columbia man has been accused getting into an argument with another and stabbing him on Saturday.
Marcus Anthony Rivers, 38, is facing attempted murder charges. He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
Rivers is accused of using a lock blade to stab a man multiple times after the pair got into argument in the 4300 block of Augusta Road, according to a news release by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
The man who was stabbed, whose name has not been released, is expected to survive.
