The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in identifying the man accused of robbing a Dollar General Store Sunday.
The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the Dollar General located at 1686 Highway 1 South in Lugoff, the sheriff’s office said.
The suspect entered the Dollar General as it was opening, pulled out a silver and black colored handgun and demanded money, according to the sheriff’s office. The store employee complied and surrendered store money to the suspect, who forced the employee to the back of the store before fleeing in what is believed to be a 2012-2013 silver in color Nissan Altima.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2 black man, wearing all black clothing and a black baseball hat at the time of the incident.
