Dead body discovered in Five Points, Columbia police investigating
A dead body was discovered Tuesday afternoon in the Five Points area of Columbia.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., walkers discovered the body near the 900 block of Harden Street, according to the Columbia Police Department.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, police said.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death and release the identity of the person.
The Columbia Police Department continues to investigate the death.
