Columbia police investigating shooting on Garners Ferry

Columbia police are investigating a shooting on Garners Ferry Road Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 7700 block of Garners Ferry Road Tuesday afternoon, police said. One person was injured and taken to the hospital.

A possible suspect has been detained, police said.
