Pelion police seek suspects involved in drug-story burglary

Pelion Police Department officials are requesting the public's assistance in locating suspects involved in the burglary of the Big "S" Drugs store on Thursday.

Officials said the suspects entered the store located in the 8000 block of Edmund Highway at 4 a.m. by prying the front door open with steel crowbars. Once inside they took a variety of prescription drugs and a small amount of cash.

The suspects were dropped off by a minivan and later picked up by the same vehicle. The suspects may also be connected to a break-in at the Piggly Wiggly in Wagener.
