Ex-Midlands Tech officer accused of fondling woman on campus

A former Midlands Technical College law enforcement officer has been accused of fondling a woman on campus.

Charles Riley is charged with second degree assault and battery and indecent exposure, Thom Berry, a State Law Enforcement Divison (SLED) spokesman, said.

Riley is accused of fondling the woman and exposing himself in his office at the school on April 20, 2015, according to a warrant.

Riley also worked as an adjunct instructor at Midlands Tech, Berry said. If convicted, Riley could face up to three years in prison for the charges.
