Almost 30 pounds of meth, heroin, fentanyl seized in Midlands drug bust
Federal authorities seized nearly 30 pounds of drugs and arrested six people in a Midlands bust this week.
Agents took more than 16 pounds of methamphetamine, nine pounds of heroin and three pounds of fentanyl in a multi-agency investigation that resulted in drug conspiracy charges against Endira Torres, Devon Tremain Thomas, Matias Castro Hernandez, Leslie Geraldene Gutierrez, Alan Alberto Maldonado-Dominguez and Luis Antonio Cruz-Gonzales.
U.S. Attorney Beth Drake announced the arrests Friday.
All six defendants had bond hearings this week and remain in federal custody, Drake said.
