Armed man robs woman at Dutch Square ATM (+ video)
A woman withdrawing money from an ATM machine at Dutch Square Saturday night was robbed at gunpoint. Richland County authorities released surveillance video on Tuesday, seeking the public’s help in identifying the armed robber.
The incident occurred at 11:30 pm Saturday at the AllSouth ATM machine at 710 Dutch Square Blvd., Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news release.
After taking the woman’s money, the suspect, who wore a piece of cloth over his face to obscure his identification, reached into her car and grabbed her purse, which included her identification.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black “hoodi”, black pants, and camouflage hat.
