Three Columbia teenagers have been charged after a man withdrawing money at an ATM on Greystone Boulevard was held up at gunpoint around 2 am Saturday morning.

Mikell Lloyd, 18, Marquis Grooms, 19, and a 15-year-old juvenile, were stopped by Lexington County authorities near the Lake Murray dam after the victim, in his own car, followed the pickup truck the robbers fled in and called 9-1-1.

The victim “was able to provide a good description of the getaway vehicle,” Columbia police said in a news release.

Lloyd, Grooms and the unnamed 15-year-old were being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center Saturday night. The two adults face several charges including criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The juvenile was charged with conspiracy, armed robbery, unlawfully carrying a pistol and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
