Conway police are searching for a 3-year-old boy abducted Monday by extended family members, Lt. Selena Small said.

Officers are searching for Elijah Angel Levie, 3, who is described as being 3-feeet tall and weighing 35 pounds with black hair and blue eyes, Small said. The boy was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve T-shirt with dark sleeves with the words "hard to handle" on the front of the shirt and blue jeans.

Just before 12 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Temple Street for a child that was taken by force from a home, Small said. The child was last seen in a 2000s model green Toyota Camry leaving Conway and possibly headed towards S.C. 90 to Little River area.

Two Hispanic men and a Hispanic woman are believed to be in the vehicle with the child and Small said they could be armed with a handgun.

If anyone sees the child or the vehicle they should call 911 to report it to police.
