Man broke into Richland County home, held resident at gunpoint, deputies say
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man they say broke into an area home and held a resident at gunpoint, according to a sheriff’s department statement.
Gabrielle Chase Watts, 35, is wanted on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, burglary and assault and battery.
Watts should be considered armed and dangerous.
Deputies say Watts and others broke into a home on the 1300 block of Oakcrest Drive on June 9, according to the statement. The group attacked and hit the resident of the home.
They also took items from the home while holding the resident at gunpoint.
Deputies ask that anyone with information on Watt’s whereabouts come forward.
