Trio of burglars nabbed after deputies, K9 chase them Richland County, officials say

Three men were arrested Wednesday after a witness spotted them robbing a Richland County home, according to a sheriff’s department statement.

Tony Allen, 18, Kristopher Myers, 17, and Rasheen Oree, 18, were arrested after the witness gave deputies a description of their car, according to the statement.

A concerned citizen was on Flora Court when they saw the trio carrying a TV and a safe out of a home, according to the statement. The passerby called 9-1-1 and reported the possible robbery, giving dispatchers the make, model and color of the car they were driving.

Deputies quickly spotted the car and gave chase. The trio got out of their car, and the deputies and a K9 gave chase, according to the statement.

The trio were all arrested and charged with burglary, grand larceny and safe cracking.

Allen, Myers and Oree were all transported to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
